Has anyone used Phytophanere Dietary Supplement - Hair & Nails?? Does it work?? Is it worth the money??

This is my first time answering a Yahoo question, and I decided to share my experience since it was hard for me to find feedback on these vitamins when I was contemplating buying them. I am a faithful user of many "Phyto"-line products (Phytodefrisiant, Phytospecific Vitale Force Line, Phytolisse) and I know that the company is reputable and that all of their products are derived from natural (no synthetic) sources. They are a little more expensive, but the concentration of extracts that are good for your hair are higher, and the results show much sooner. Which is what gave me the final push to try the vitamins.

I purchased these vitamins from Sephora about 2.5 weeks ago. Honestly, I could rant and rave about how great they are, but It is too soon for me to tell. I can say that the composition holds many of the key elements that provide a healthy environment for your hair to flourish, but I have no growth to report yet. Typically vitamins can produce results anywhere from 3-4 weeks in your system, but because these vitamins affect your hair growth, it is recommended that you allow 2-3 months before results. I cannot attribute any hair growth to the vitamins, but I can definitely attribute my nails growing out stronger and longer. Since I started taking the vitamins (religiously, 2 per day as recommended), my nails have grown about 1/8 inch in the past 14 days, and very strong, which is NOT typical for me.

I would suggest that you consider reviewing customer feedback on thisi product through other sources outside of Yahoo, particularly sites that specialize in health care, hair products or beauty products. I listed the sources I referred to for reviews when I was contemplating my leap and surrender of pocket money.

Just remember that you need to give whichever product a fair enough period of time to work before you give up on is. The reviews talking about the most growth and best results were those who had been using the vitamins for 3-6 months. And that seems to be indicative of the time period that vitamins usually take before they're shown in your hair (not nails, or skin, or anything else).

Food for thought: The vitamins are $48 for 2 months supply, which isn't much more or less than other hair/nail supplements averaging about $20+/- per bottle). So they are reasonably priced in comparison with other vitamins (Nioxin, HF37, etc.) on the market.
