I like this resistance band i just got today for working out, but should i be using free weights?

I am a medium to skinny build, 6'1 175lbs. I wanna get bigger, as in muscular wise, but will just the resistance band and hitting the speed/heavy bag be enough?? Should i combine free weights with it, and if so how? Thanks

You need to be overloading your muscles to get them bigger. High reps at a low weight define muscles, but low reps at a high weight build them.

Rule of thumb-2-3 sets of 5 reps. You have to decide the weight, but you should REALLY be feeling it by the 4th rep.

I don't know what muscles you are wanting to build, but there is endless info about how to build each muscle out there on the net.
