Sony Ericsson W580I Stepometer/Pedometer... Is this Accurate?
might sound silly this question but its really bothering me lol!
I use the built in Stepometer/Pedometer and im not sure how or if this is accurate?
Maybe im just not as fit as i thought i was!
Eg. - I ran quite intensely for 30 mins but my distance covered according to my phone was only 1 mile? Burning off only 80 Kcal?
Yet only the other day whilst walking 1.5 mile it showed i burned 86Kcal?
Hmm ... not entirely sure about this as i know if running intensely for 30-60 mins your going to burn hundreds of cals? Anyone else got this phone, is it accurate?
Also wheres the best place to have it whilst exercising?
If on treadmill i put it in my sock lol
If out walking its in my pocket!
This reliable?? Sorry im a bit frantic bout my fitness and thought i was doing slightly better than my phones showing - - - feeling a bit conned Sony!

I have a w580i, its not accurate, unless you calibrate it the right way.
