"Human Growth Complex" from Ultra Lab?
I just turned 18 and my height is about 5'9
I'm as tall as my dad and my mom is 5'6, I'm very athletic and eat very healthily, I also have been taking multi-vitamins and supplements.
I know this product, makes you gain muscle, makes you stronger and has lots of benefits, but I wanna know if I could increase some height by using this product,I also bought "tribex" which is a testosterone booster and I've read that it aids bone growth.
none of these products are synthetic or steroids, they are boosters...
could I add some inches to my height with these?I talked to 2 specialists and they said that it was possible.
Muscle isn't bone, to state the obvious. If something really does increase muscle mass, it does so by triggering certain biological and chemical processes in muscle tissue. Your bones don't have any muscle tissue, so they're not going to be activated in the same way.
What kind of "specialists" were they? Sounds like they told you what they knew you wanted to hear. That doesn't make them right. (A skeptical answer on Yahoo! doesn't make them wrong, either.)
Ultra Lab admits that it contains "phosphorus", although they don't identify the chemical form. (The chemical form matters. Coke also contains plenty of "phosphorus" as phosphoric acid, but I've never heard that it promotes bone growth.) It also contains poison ivy (as "Rhus Toxicodendron"), and lactic acid (which builds up in your muscles when you exercise, causing muscle fatigue; and yet Ultra Lab claims that it will "Help relieve the onset of muscular fatigue"), and arsenic. (Don't be too worried by the arsenic, which is used at "15X" dilution. That means that it contains less arsenic than you can legally find in drinking water. In other words, IF arsenic helps your bones grow, you'd get more arsenic by drinking tap water.)
So no, I don't really think that Ultra Lab's "Human Growth Complex" is going to make you grow taller, unless it's the weight of your wallet keeping you down...
Backing off a bit, why do you even want to grow taller? 5'9 isn't terribly tall, but I don't think you'd really be seen as "short" either. If you're interested in being taller for basketball, adding a few inches isn't going to turn you into an all-star.
If it's for dating (it matters to some girls) - well, again, if she's only turning you down because of your height, is she really worth your time anyway? Figure out what you've got going for you - "very athletic" is a good start physically, are you smart? are you a nice guy? funny? good friend? Then you're probably not going to have any trouble getting dates. Have some confidence in those things, there's more to being popular than just being tall.
