How much would you pay monthly for an intense group fitness gym?
It would be based on 10-12 identical fitness spots, each containing a set of exercise equipment, weights, rubber bands, medicina balls, machines and treadmills.
Everybody could come three times per week for a 40 minute class.
40 minute class exerciseswould look like this:
5 minute warm-up,
20 minute resistance training done according to instructions of a group trainer, workout changes always so there is no plateu and boredom.
Then 10 minute high intensity interval training on a treadmill= 30 seconds walk then 30 seconds of the highest speed you can take (sprint), then again 30seconds walk, 30 seconds of the highest speed you can take (sprint).
5 minute stretching
This routine would build overall strength and conditioning and would help you lose weight.
It would depend greatly on several things. First off, would I be able to come in and do a workout on my own? Could I come in and get on a treadmill for half an hour if one is free? Or would I be limited to just coming to a class three times a week? Also, just how much personal attention would I get from the trainer? What's the initiation/sign up fee? And am I committed to a certain length of time, or can I simply drop the membership without additional fees?
I can join a local gym for about $10 to $15 a month (depending on whether I want to use the wet areas), no initiation fee, and no certain length of time. I can either participate in classes, or work out on my own. This gym has everything that you mention, plus a swimming pool and hot tub and sauna (which are considered the wet areas). So I certainly wouldn't pay more than $10 a month for your gym.
