my dad has to wear a rigid neck brace. any suggestions on how to make it more comfortable against his skin?

it rubs on his beast bone and his chin and we can't figure out how to pad it easily. we currently have cut some turtle necks to make 'dickies' which helps some, but not at the 'pressure' areas. help please!

Baby Powder should help with the irratation, or even better use Gold Bond Powder.
